BBC Radio Manchester visited Essa Primary this morning to find out about the work the supervised toothbrushing scheme they are involved in with their Reception classes. Through Greater Manchester health and Social Care Partnership Mrs Mariner has become a trained Dental Champion for school and has supported the EYFS team to implement daily toothbrushing as part of their school routines. Each child has their own toothbrush and takes part in two minutes tooth brushing everyday alongside the recommended morning and night routines. BBC Radio Manchester interviewed Mrs Mariner and observed the children taking part in supervised toothbrushing this morning. Please listen using the link below.
